SDCCD Outreach and Networking Event for Capital Renovation and Repair Projects


Upcoming Opportunities for Contractors

The San Diego Community College District invites contractors and subcontractors to join us for an informational outreach and networking event focused on near-term capital renovation and repair work planned across district campuses in the coming months. A light breakfast will be provided.  

This session is designed to share what work is coming, how it will be delivered, and how firms can prepare to compete as projects move forward. District staff will also outline procurement processes and prequalification requirements, and explain which projects will be subject to the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA), applicable to contracts valued at $1 million and above.

What we're looking for, what we'll cover and who should attend


Anticipated License Categories

The district expects upcoming work to include, but not be limited to, firms holding the following California contractor licenses:

  • B - General Building
  • C-7 – Low Voltage
  • C-10 - Electrical
  • C-11 – Elevator
  • C-16 – Fire Protection
  • C-20 - Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating & Air-Conditioning (HVAC)
  • C-39 - Roofing
  • D-28 - Doors, Gates & Activating Devices    

Final scopes, schedules, and license requirements will be confirmed when solicitations are advertised.

Two-Step Registration required


Event Registration AND Virtual Permit registration

Parking permits are required on campus.  A virtual permit will allow you to park in any regular staff or student space on campus. We recommend parking in PS200, which is attached to the MS building at 1529 "C" Street, between 15th and 16th streets.
